Purpose-Built for Tactical Rappelling Operations
The Spider Rappel Plate Carrier is engineered for tactical teams that rely on rope systems during building entry, vertical-access operations, and complex urban missions.
A dedicated harness pass-through channel is positioned at the lower front of the carrier.
This design helps route the tactical harness connection without interfering with the front placard, magazine pouches, or other mission-essential equipment.
Constructed with Dyneema® fabric and reinforced stitching, the harness channel provides the durability required for repeated operational use.
Mission-Configurable Mobility and Coverage
The Spider Rappel Plate Carrier can be configured according to different operational requirements.
For reconnaissance, rapid-response, and mobility-focused missions, the carrier may be equipped with a lightweight 3-inch Tegris® cummerbund, reducing bulk while maintaining structural support.
For higher-intensity assault operations or missions requiring increased side coverage, operators may select a 5-inch laminated CORDURA® cummerbund or compatible side-armor panel pouches.
Removable quick-release hardware allows the shoulder straps and cummerbund to be configured either with or without buckles, depending on operator preference and unit standard operating procedures.
Modular Front Placard System
The front of the carrier features a MOLLE-compatible placard interface for attaching magazine pouches, utility pouches, and other mission-specific equipment.
The placard can be secured using titanium G-hooks or side-release buckles and may be replaced with other compatible magazine placards or combination panels to support different weapons and operational configurations.
Integrated cable-management straps on the front plate bag help route and organize radio, push-to-talk, and communications wiring.
Expandable Rear Platform
The rear plate bag features a laser-cut MOLLE attachment surface for conventional MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories.
An integrated zipper interface also allows compatible assault back panels to be attached directly to the carrier, providing additional storage and mission-specific load carriage without requiring a separate harness system.
The carrier remains compatible with the dedicated Assaulter’s Backpack in both buckled and buckle-free configurations.
Expandable Protective Coverage
For operations requiring broader protective coverage, the Spider Rappel Plate Carrier may be combined with compatible UTEK upper-body protection components, ballistic groin protection, and other modular armor accessories.
This scalable design allows the operator to adapt the system for reconnaissance, rapid-response, counter-terrorism, urban assault, or high-risk entry operations.
