SiC + UHMWPE Composite Construction<\/h3>\n

The CASTLE12 RF3++ combines a silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic strike face with an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composite backing structure.<\/p>\n

The plate features a single-curve profile and measures 25 \u00d7 30 \u00d7 3.2 cm, with a weight of 3.2 kg per plate.<\/p>\n

It is designed as a stand-alone ballistic plate and does not require additional soft armor backing.<\/p>\n

Ballistic Testing at Element U.S. Space & Defense<\/h3>\n

The CASTLE12 RF3++ underwent ballistic testing at Element U.S. Space & Defense in the United States.<\/p>\n
