RF3 Protection with SiC Ceramic Composite Construction
The CASTLE12 RF3 SiC Ceramic Ballistic Plate combines a silicon carbide ceramic strike face with a polyethylene composite backing to provide protection against high-level rifle threats.
The plate is configured as stand-alone armor. In the tested configuration, no separate soft armor backer is required to provide the stated ballistic performance.
Two plate sizes are available—25 × 30 cm and 24 × 32 cm—allowing the user to select a configuration based on body proportions, plate-carrier pocket dimensions and operational requirements.

Select the plate according to the user’s torso dimensions and the internal dimensions of the plate-carrier pocket.
Before ordering, confirm that the carrier is compatible with both the selected plate dimensions and the approximately 30 mm plate thickness. Carrier size labels alone do not guarantee compatibility.
