Traditional USMC Profile with an Aramid Ballistic Shell
The CASTLE12 NIJ Level IIIA USMC Aramid Ballistic Helmet is manufactured with an aramid composite shell and a traditional USMC-type combat helmet profile.
It is intended for law enforcement, protective security, tactical training and other professional applications requiring head protection against the specified handgun threats. The helmet combines ballistic protection, structural integrity and a familiar combat-helmet configuration for professional operational use.
It is available in Ranger Green, Black and Coyote Brown to support different uniform, equipment and mission requirements.
Ballistic Test Performance
The helmet was tested at the Element U.S. Space & Defense laboratory.
9mm Test

Deformation Performance
According to the published product information, measured deformation did not exceed 25.4 mm under the stated test conditions.
Suitable for 57–61 cm Head Circumferences
Designed for head circumferences of approximately 57–61 cm, equivalent to approximately 22.4–24.0 inches. Actual fit may vary depending on head shape, padding thickness and retention-system adjustment.
