The CASTLE12 Tactical Gear Cut-Resistant Vest is designed to provide an additional protective barrier against injuries caused by knife cuts, blade contact and slashing attacks.
Developed for law enforcement, corrections, security and other professional duty applications, the vest is intended for environments where personnel may face close-range cutting or slashing threats.
Unlike stab-resistant body armor, this product is primarily intended to resist cutting and slashing actions across the surface of the protective material. It must not be represented as protection against direct knife-point penetration unless the specific product configuration has been separately tested and verified for stab resistance.

Protection Scope
This vest is intended primarily for protection against cutting and slashing threats.
Cut resistance and stab resistance are different protective properties. Resistance to a blade being drawn or slashed across a material does not automatically mean that the material can prevent penetration from a pointed knife, spike or other sharp object.
Unless separately supported by an applicable laboratory test report, this product must not be represented as:
- Stab-resistant body armor
- Spike-resistant body armor
- NIJ 0115.00 compliant body armor
- Bullet-resistant or ballistic-resistant body armor
- Protection against every knife, blade or edged weapon
Protection performance may vary depending on factors including blade design, blade sharpness, applied force, impact angle, attack method, impact location, product condition and protective coverage.
No protective vest can eliminate all risks of injury or provide protection to areas not covered by its protective components.
Inspection and Care
Inspect the vest and all protective components before each use.
Do not use the product if the protective material, carrier, stitching or closure system shows signs of serious damage, cutting, tearing, deformation, contamination or deterioration.
Do not puncture, cut, fold, modify or improperly wash the protective components. Follow the applicable manufacturer’s instructions regarding cleaning, storage, inspection and replacement.
